Clothes:

My favourite season is winter because it snows, it's nearly christmas and I love layering tops and shirts in the winter. I also love wearing my gilet and coat in the winter with chunky scarves and jewellery. Another thing I love wearing is shorts and tights, with a patterned tights. I love vintage clothes and really soft jumpers. I love shoes! I love boots, sailor shoes and converse.

Emily, my best friend

My best friend is called Emily Lovelock, we get along so well because of her amazing fashion sense which matches mine which means she is the best person ever to go shopping with! We also have lots of crazy adventures together, like waiting in the pouring rain for the Harry Potter premiere for 16 hours before we were told we couldn't get in and making face masks out of building materials and dying my hair red! 

My likes about Emily are:

Her brilliant taste in shoes - she got me the best pair of blue wedges with floral print inside for my birthday!
Her accesories such as her rings and her birdcage necklace!

Her matching sense of humour

Her matching prom dress which toned with mine.

The fact that she's my adopted twin

A bit about me...

I live at home with my Mum, Dad and sister. However she is leaving home soon to go to university. I have a black cocker spaniel called Cosmo :) I am going to Alton College and I'm excited to start my new subjects, Textiles, Business studies, ICT and Sociology. I love designing, cooking, photography, music and my friends :D I like textiles because it is so creative and there are no limits with what designs and patterns you can make. I love designing new things and seeing the final product of my ideas.

Emily and I collecting GCSE results, I had then temporarily dyed my hair red! Casual...

My favourite designers...

At the moment one of my favourite designer for fashion is Ossie Clark. He is famous for his vintage designs, he has characterised the contemporary fashion era. I really like the swinging sixties style of dresses that he makes. I also really like the bold, block colours he uses in his straight dresses, and then in contrast the use of light browns and very detailed patterns.

I like the quirky, tight fitting dresses by Antonio Berardi. Some are smart, for eveningwear and others are casual. Berardi is known for his striking, classical, dressed-up style featuring advanced fabrics and manufacturing.

I love the pale colours and patterns from Cath Kidson, I love all the materials and textiles with a very vintage feel. My favourite style is the retro/vintage union jack.

My fashion likes are:
vintage clothes, chunky jewellery, anything from Accesorize!, cable knit, shorts and tights, Joules, wedges, floral dresses and I love trying on clothes and taking pictures to decide which are the best! :D

My fasion dislikes are:

Burberry, Punkyfish, Cropped short tops, socks and sandals, ponchos, tops that are too low-cut, animal print and crocs. Ewwwww!

Mmmmm food!

I have been interested in cooking for a while and I love trying out new recipes on my friends (they love eating it!) My favourite things to make are tarts, cakes and bread :D

My favourite foods are cheese, pasta, chocolate, rice, cherries and crispy kreme dounuts! 

I don't really have many dislikes when it comes to food...!

My food dislikes are blue cheese and mange tout :P 

My favourite music...

My favourite bands are Mumford & Sons, The Wombats, The Hoosiers, Scouting for Girls and Noah and the Whale.

My favourite singer/songwriters are Adele, Eliza Doolittle and Elton John.

My favourite style of music is "Alternative" but I also like pop and dance music.

With the sun Shining down over Me and You...

I have been interested in music for most of my life, I started playing the flute at age 11 and I am continuing to enjoy it. I started playing the tenor saxophone when I was 13, I really enjoyed playing in the band at school.
I am a member of Farnham Youth Choir and have been for 9 years, starting in the training choir for younger members, and now I'm in the youth choir for 12 - 18 year olds. We travel around the world partaking in choral competitions and in July 2012 we are hoping to go to the World Choir Games in USA.
